Make sure you install the game to your main Steam folder, then install the 1.5 patch in that same Steam folder. 3) Grab the additional Resident Evil 5 downloads from this link: 4) Install ResidentEvil5DX9Installer_v1.0.1_r3_Win32(may need to rename file).exe in your main Steam folder, go to the \\data\\d3d9\\d3d9.cab folder after installation is complete, and extract d3d9.dll to \\data\\ 5) Unlock dxgi.dll, grab it from here: http://www6.zippyshare. com/v/42405666/file.html 6) Download Microsoft AppLocale (the newest version), run it, and navigate to the DirectX files. Install these files, then rename dxgi.dll to dinput8.dll (you should see this line if you go to that exact folder: "\\Microsoft DirectX" without quotes). Make SURE your game is closed when installing these DX files! DO NOT DO ANYTHING with Steam while installing these files! 7) Grab KaW_DX9R_Loader_v1.0.exe file from here: http://www10.zippyshare.com/v/59666221/file. html and Install it in your main Steam folder. 9) Use the Fallout 3 Fallout Launcher to patch Fallout New Vegas, install the 1. 3 patch, and recently updated 1. 4 patch (same files). If you do not have a patched version of Fallout New Vegas, after installing the 1. 3 patch, install the 1.4 patch from here: 10) Once both patches are installed: Open up your fallout launcher and you will see a blue exclamation mark in the lower right-hand corner of your launcher screen. Select that and press Next, then choose Patch Fallout NV Completely, then follow that with Patch Fallout New Vegas Completely (do not cancel out the process! It will eventually finish updating). cfa1e77820
